at last, lol. something new.
well, I'm kinda watching the Toei approved "sequel/spinoff" to Uchuu Keiji Shaider by GMA, Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan. Hoping for some 70's tokusatsu action...at least. I've been drawing the original Shaider suit and the new Zaido suit, but some part is pulling in favor of the Zaido suit. Iunno, it's just the helmet that needs work IMO. background renders from  and  instead of ripping the Zaido logo, I did something like the original logos. Instead of Keiji tho I used Keisatsu...hence Uchuu Keisatsu instead of Keiji...iunno...space police, space detective...same thing. haha...I'm making lineart of the Shaider suit soon, but I'll leave  to do the coloring on that one. I want it "painted" instead of vector/vexel and renders. To contrast again from the old and new styles.Zaido has red and green counterparts (palette swaps lol), but I don't give a crap about em. blue rocks. *EDIT* hello. I wasn't too satisfied with the finishing touches to the Zaido, and the logo... I opened it up again and added some tweaks to the colors and armor after getting a better look at the costume. some minor additions and corrections here and there. I redid the Uchuu Keisatsu Zaido text into a simpler font, and basically I'm more happy with how the character and logo turned out. also made some tweaks to the background. yeahp. I like this edit best. the original copy is in the scraps tho.  |
